Ellas Story

Ella's story begins in  late October 2010.  Ella began experiencing pain in her hip. Mom took her to the doctor and were told that she had some inflammation in her hip. She was given ibuprofen but the pain did not go away.
Mom took her back to the clinic in early November and some more tests were run. They came back negative so she continued with the painrelief. 
In December Ella ended up in hospital with stronger pain. She was examined and tested for lyme disease and infections. All came back negative.
We were told she more than likely had arthritis and we were referred to see rhuematologist in January. Two weeks later, Ella was back in hospital because of the pain. 
They then referred her for an MRI. After the MRI, they said Ella most likely had arthritis but they did a few more tests. One of those tests came back positive for strep and Ella had antibiotics. 
In January Ella  had more x-rays, more blood tests, an electrocartiogram and an ultrasound. Then Mom got a call to bring Ella back to the hospital. So we returned and we were told that Ella had leukemia. Cancer. And so here we are...
